The Intersection of Blackness, Masculinity, and Disability
Most disabled characters are portrayed as white with the notable exception of characterizations of Black disabled masculinity. Interviews discuss these depictions’ role in upholding systemic racism, ableism, and sexism.
These interviews include footage not seen in the final version of the film. They are organized into units and themes for community discussions and teaching.
